Two Analog Clock Experiments
Creative ·I built two small experiments exploring unusual ways to display an analog clock — both show only the hour hand, but each distorts your perception of time in a different way.
The common theme here is that while the clock has 12 hour markers, most of them them are uninteresting unless they are close to the current time.
Fleeing
The markers on this clock flee from the hour hand. As the hand sweeps around, the tick marks bunch up on the far side and spread out near the hand. This allows a detailed view of the minutes near the current time.
Zoomed
This clock keeps the face and hand normal, but the viewport zooms in and follows the tip of the hour hand. You are always watching the hand from close up, crawling across a sea of minute markers.
This entire project was vibe-coded with claude.
